After breakfast, you will leave for Merzouga through the Middle Atlas Mountains passing across Ifrane a famous ski resort built by the French to resemble a Swiss village and the Cedars forests of Azrou where you will see the monkeys. 🗓️ Day 2: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga

On day two you will explore the desert region and Erg Chebbidesert dunes. You will make a circuit of the desert dunes where you will have the opportunity to see how the Nomads live and the amazing changing contrasts of the desert. You will visit the “black village” of Khamlia to see the Gnawa musicians. You will have a traditional Berber pizza for lunch in the ancient capital of Rissani. In the afternoon, you will take a ride on the camel to watch the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in the desert camp. Enjoy the dinner, the delicious mint tea, and the traditional Berber music while watching the stars and the rising moon in the amazing Sahara desert.

🗓️ Day 3: Erg Chebbi – Rissani – Todra Gorges 

After breakfast, you will trek back to the hotel on your camel for a quick shower. Depart from the Sahara desert dunes of Erg Chebbi taking an off-road drive across the Hamada (the black Desert) to get to the Sahara town of Rissani, optional visit of the animated local market. Afterwards, you head towards Erfoud, known for its fossils, where you will stop to visit a fossil workshop before continuing to the impressive Todra canyons, known for rock climbing. Check in at the hotel for the night.

🗓️ Day 4: Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate

Breakfast at the hotel, then drive along the road of The Thousand Kasbahs. You will pass through the Dades Valley and go up to the mountainous area through an off-road trail where many Berber villages and few nomads are still living in caves; here you will have the chance to visit one of these families and take a look at their daily life. You will be impressed by the landscapes of the colorful rose valley before you reach Skoura palm grove. Arrive in Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Stop for lunch in a local restaurant in Telouet before descending the Tizi-n-Tichka mountain pass heading to Marrakech
