


The 12-day vacation from Casablanca is one of the longer excursions in Morocco, combining culture, nature, and adventure. We led the excursion from Marrakech’s royal cities across the Atlas Mountains to the Sahara Desert’s refuge. In the last days, we will stop in Marrakech, Morocco’s most touristic city, to discover its most spectacular monuments. The journey also provides the opportunity for some unexpected discoveries in Fez and Marrakech’s Medinas.
Day 1: Casablanca airport – Rabat – Asilah
We begin our 12-day vacation in Casablanca. After meeting you at the airport, we will drive to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, where you will view the Hassan Tower and wander through the Kasbah Oudayas before landing in Asilah. The majority of the journey will be along the seaside, where you will have time to explore the city. Asilah is well-known for its yearly art festival, and the majority of the Medina’s walls are painted by prominent painters from all over the world. Your tour includes the Skalla stronghold, from where you will get a spectacular view over the Medina and the sea. We will spend the night at our Hotel / Riad.
Day 2: Asilah – Tangier – Chefchaouen
The next morning, we will continue our 12-day vacation from Casablanca to the desert, and after breakfast, we will go to the lovely city of Chefchaouen, the bastion of the Rif Mountains and Morocco’s most picturesque city. On the way, we will pass through Tangier, where we will visit the beautiful beach of Achakar and the famous cave of Herculus, and then continue through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, where we will have the afternoon and then visit this beautiful city is a must, in order to discover the true beauty that this small city hidden inside the Rif Mountains has to offer. such as the Outa Hamam Square, it’s beautiful medina. Day 3: Full day to discover Chefchaouen
You will have the entire day today to explore this picturesque town with its steep, narrow streets and white and indigo houses. The area in the center of the ancient town, Place Uta el-Hamman, is great for a quiet stroll and is near to the Grand Mosque. The Fondouk, Kasbah, and Museum are all nearby. More than 100 weavers’ workshops may be found amid the Medina’s maze of lanes. Chefchaouen is well-known for its wool jellabas. Houses in the Quartier Al-Andalus neighborhood are likewise ornately adorned and painted. Stay the night at a Riad.
Day 4: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

You will explore the medina and the famed souks of Fez: its tiny cobblestone lanes are full of ancient mosques and majestic green glazed minarets… you will tour the most stunning palaces and monuments of Fez. A visit to the tannery and pottery cooperative to see traditional Moroccan handicrafts will be included in the program. Overnight stay at a Riad, including breakfast.
Day 6: Fez – Ifrane – Sahara Desert of Merzouga
After breakfast, we will travel to Ifrane, known as “the Moroccan Switzerland,” and Azrou, through the Tizi n t’lghamt pass in the Middle Atlas Mountains. During our journey, we will stop at Midelt to snap photographs and have lunch, then continue on through the Ziz valley, Errachidia, Erfoud, and finally to the heart of the Moroccan Sahara.
You will relax in the Merzouga desert before riding a camel and walking into the deep desert. We’ll see the sunset amid the sand dunes while camel trekking. A fantastic meal at a Sahara desert camp, followed by a night under the stars in desert tents with Berber drum music.
Day 7: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Your camel guide will wake you up early in the morning to witness what may be the spectacular sunrise of your life. Following daybreak and breakfast, you will return to Merzouga and meet your driver. Then you will go to Rissani, where we will see the Markt, a historic village that was the birthplace of Morocco’s reigning dynasty and the meeting point for the Caravans that extended all the way to Timbuctou in Mali. Continue on to the Todra canyons, Morocco’s tallest and narrowest canyons, where you will observe numerous hooded men and veiled women. After lunch in the gorge, we’ll travel into the Dades Valley, where you’ll view gorgeous sand castles and extraordinary rock formations known as “monkey fingers.” Overnight lodging will be at a premium hotel with a view of the Dades Valley.
Day 8: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait ben Haddou – High Atlas Mounatins – Marrakech
After breakfast at the hotel, the day will begin with a tour to the stunning rock formations of the Dades gorges. Then travel through the Valley of Roses to Kalaa M’gouna and skoura before arriving in Oarzazate, Africa’s Hollywood, and stopping at the Atlas Film Studios. Then to the “Kasbah Ait Benhaddou” UNESCO World Heritage Site, which has been designated since 1986. Ait Benhaddou Kasbah is one of many locations that have served as natural decorations for numerous films such as “Alexender, Gladiator, Babel…” and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we’ll go to Marrakech through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 meters above sea level). Arrival in Marrakech and transfer to your hotel.
Day 9: Full day to visit Marrakech with local guide
After breakfast in Riad, we start our trip touring the city of Marrakech “the red city of Morocco”, it was founded in the 12th century by the Almoravidian dynasty. We will visit the most important cultural and historical heritage. You will have the great opportunity to explore Saadiyin Tomb, Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Mosque (Tower). In addition, our guide will take you to see the Bay Square, the souk of the city, and then you will join the famous medina square where you will see and discover the fascinating snake magician, “funny seminars” where some professional or humorous people tell fabulous and nice jokes. In the afternoon, you will have free time to walk and discover other places of the city yourself.
Day 10: Drive to Essaouira
The next morning, you will begin your journey to the seaside city of Essaouira. After a 2.5-hour travel, arrive to begin visiting the city. Hundreds of handicrafts may be found as you go through the medina’s alleys. This “Windy City” draws surfers from throughout the world. Essaouira has seen numerous civilizations, including the Portuguese occupation, which has left its mark on most of its architecture, yet it remains a little town steeped in history. It is also known as Morocco’s “Jewel of the Atlantic” due to its grandeur and distinctive blue doors and washed walls. You will also go to the women’s cooperative for Argan oil. They extract the oil, which is well-known for its culinary, cosmetic, and medicinal benefits, here. Lunch will be served either in the medina or at the harbor. You will return to Marrakech in the afternoon. Stay the night at a Riad.
Day 11: Marrakech – Casablanca
We will leave Marrakech after breakfast to see Morocco’s largest city’s historical treasures. Before returning to the hotel for the night, we will be able to tour some of the city’s sights, including as the largest mosque Hassan II, the United Nations Palace, and the coastline “Corniche” shoreline.
Day 12: transfer from Casablanca to the airport
In the morning we will transfer you to Casablanca airport, and end of our 12 12 days tour tour from casablanca to the desert.
