Our 4-day Morocco travel from Agadir to the Erg Chegaga desert includes all of this in a convenient all-inclusive package.
Day 1: Agadir – Taroudante – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
We begin our four-day desert excursion from Agadir to the Erg Chegaga 4 Days Desert Tour dunes at 8:00 a.m. Aftre to Ouarzazate through Taroudante, savoring the sceneries and Berber communities in between. And travel to Ait Benhaddou, a “fortified town” on the historic trade route between the Sahara and Marrakech.
The UNESCO World Heritage Site has used as the backdrop for several films, including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. Dinner and breakfast are included in the overnight stay in Ouarzazate.
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Zagora – Mhamid
Visit the Kasbah of Amzrou and the village of Tamgroute best known for the green poetry cooperative, and its ancient library with books from the 11th century. Road to M’hamid, where the appointment with Dromedary walk to join the camp and enjoy a wonderful sunset in the desert. Dinner and overnight in nomadic Berber tents.
Day 3: Mhamid – Off Road – Erg Chegaga
After breakfast, travel to cross the desert: sand dunes, Oasis, Hamada…. up to the large sand dunes of Chegaga, Morocco’s largest sand dunes…
Day 4: Mhamid – Lake Iriki – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Agadir
After breakfast, take the trail between Taliouine and Erg Chegaga through the Draa’s dry bed via the Iriqui lake…
