6 Days tour from Tangier to Marrakech

Private tour 6 days/5 night journey from Tangier to Marrakech via Chefchaouen and Fez. With this circuit, we welcome you to learn about Morocco’s historical history while seeing some of the country’s most important towns and natural locations that will stir your spirits.

Day 1 : Tangier – Chefchaouen

We pick you up at the airport or hotel in Tangier and begin driving through the Rif Mountains and the city of Tetouan, enjoying the views of the beautiful mountains and the Mediterranean coast of northern Morocco until we arrive at Chefchaouan, one of the stunning villages at the foot of the Rif Mountains. With its blue hue, Chefchaouen Medina (ancient part of the city) becomes one of the greatest cities to visit in Morocco, surrounded by numerous arts and craft businesses, restaurants on the plaza, and cafés (6 Days tour from Tangier to Marrakech).

Día 2 : Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

After breakfast at the Riad, we will depart for Volubilis, passing through the rif mountains and a beautiful oak forest. We will stop in Volubilis to explore the Roman ruins and learn about Moroccan history in BC, and then drive to Meknes (founded in the 17th century), where we will stop for lunch. In the afternoon, tour Medina’s ancient landmarks, including as Bab el Mansour, Moulay Ismail’s Mausoleum. Later, we travel to Fez, where we will spend the night.

Day 3 : FEZ – FEZ

After breakfast, we will begin our guided tour of the medina at 9:00 a.m.

The medina of Fez, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981, is one of the world’s biggest walled towns. It was established around 790 AD. We will explore and walk through the tiny lanes filled with shops selling fresh fruit, spices, Berber carpets, and other Moroccan art pieces. We’ll see the Royal Palace, the tanners, the potters, and the world’s oldest university, founded before Oxford and the Sorbonne.

We’ll eat lunch in the medina’s heart, at a traditional restaurant. We will finish our journey to the medina after lunch and return to your accommodation approximately 4:00 p.m.

Day 4 : Fes – Ephran – Medilt – Desierto Merzouga

After breakfast, we depart from the Riad and head towards the Sahara, passing close to the Ifran National Park. We will stop at Ifran to admire its beauty and snap unforgettable images, then on to Azrou to observe the monkeys / Barbary monkeys in the cedar forest, and then to Midelt for lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, we will cross the Tizi N Telghomt pass (1907 meters high) to Errachidia while appreciating the views of the Ziz gorges, which provide excellent picture possibilities. We’ll stop later for a panoramic vista of the Ziz Valley.

The journey continues to Merzouga passing through Aoufous and Erfoud, as soon as we reach the dunes of erg chebbi , we prepare for the experience of riding camels in the dunes for an hour and a half to enjoy the sunset.

Day 5 : Merzouga – Todgha Gorges – Dades valley

The Sahara desert has a spectacular dawn if you get up early enough. After that, you may return by camel to your accommodation on the outskirts of the dunes and take in the beautiful Erg Chebbi dunes at first dawn. After breakfast and a quick wash, we’ll head to the Todra Gorges, a popular climbing area. The tallest and narrowest gorges in Morocco’s west, where we may wander briefly before travelling to the Dades Valley.

Day 6: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, we begin our journey to the valley of the roses, which bloom in April, and then to Skoura’s palm trees, where the architecture of the Kasbahs sprawls out in the shadow of the palm trees. We stop in Ouarzazate to photograph the Kasbah of Taourirt as well as the film studios, which are the city’s most important lights; then we drive to Ksar Ait Ben Haddo, a UNESCO world heritage site and the most visited sight in the south; after the visit and lunch, we take the road again, crossing the High Atlas mountain via the Tizi n Tichka pass (2260 meters). Arriving in the evening in Marrakech.
