DAY 1: TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUENThe 1st day of Tangier to Marrakech desert tour via Merzouga Sahara & Fes on 6 days starts at 7/8.a.m. Driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Tangier and drive toward the bleu town Chefchaouen one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco with its winding streets lined with blue-washed buildings with blue doors. In Chefchaouen we will have good time admiring the beautiful landscapes of Rif Mountains. So after enjoying all these amazing views, the 1st day of our desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech via Merzouga Sahara will end here in Chefchaouen where we will overnight in hotel.
DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN – VOLUBILIS – FESAfter breakfast, the 2nd day of our Morocco desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech via Merzouga Sahara on 6 days will start with free time which is a great opportunity for you to explore the blue city yourselves. After that, the driver will pick you up from Chefchaouen, then drive toward Fes city passing through Rif Mountains, Ouazzane & Volubilis (Remains of a historical building of the Roman Empire in Morocco like the ones that exist in Italy and one of the UNESCO WORLD heritage site). After quitting Volubilis we head to Fes ; the second largest city in Morocco after Casablanca. Arrival to Fes will be the end of the 2nd day of our 6 days Tangier to Marrakech via Merzouga Sahara desert tour. Ovenight in hotel or Riad.
DAY 3 : GUIDED TOUR IN FESOn the 3rd day of our 6 days Tangier to Marrakech via Merzouga Sahara desert tour, you will have a guided tour in Fes, the oldest largest and best-preserved medieval city in the world. In the morning, after Breakfast a local guide will be waiting for you to take you in a guided day tour in Fes. You will be able to see many historical and UNESCO WORLD heritage sites. You will learn a lot about the Moroccan history by visiting the Andalous Mosque dating back to 860 and Quaraouiyine Mosque, founded in 859 by Fatima el Fihri. The visit will lead you to the biggest and oldest Royal Place in Morocco.You will also visit the Chouwara the oldest tanneries of Fes to discover how the animal skins converted into very nice clothes & leathers in different colors, you can also see Bab Boujloud with its green and blue ceramics.We will have lunch in Fes restaurant. After that, the driver will take you around the city to enjoy the landscapes & panoramic views from uphill in Fes; then, drop you off in your accommodation in Fes to have a rest and get ready to continue the 6 days Morocco desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech via Merzouga Sahara.
DAY 4: FES – IFRANE – AZROU – MIDELT – ERRACHIDIA – ERFOUD – MERZOUGAOn the 4th day of our Morocco desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech 6 days via Merzouga Sahara, we’ll continue our desert trip from Fes to Merzouga Sahara desert. We’ll drive through many beautiful & stunning cities & villages. We’ll pass through Ifran Morocco’s Switzerland with an amazing European style houses, the Cedar forest of Azrou, this city is known with its amazing handicraft cooperatives, and Midelt. Lunch will be served in a small Berber village called “Zaida”. After lunch, we continue our desert tour driving through the Middle Atlas Mountains, Ziz Valley with its panoramic views and outstanding landscapes, Erfoud and Errachidia & Rissani. When we arrive to Merzouga we will have a break in a hotel and leave our luggage there because you are about to have a lifetime experience in Moroccan Sahara desert, you will ride camels to the middle of Erg-chebbi sand dunes. So We’ll not miss to watch and enjoy the fabulous sunset between the sand dunes of Merzouga. Then continue our way to an equipped desert camp where we will spend the night while enjoying the stars in the sky of Sahara desert of Morocco. Music will be played by nomads with hand make drums. Overnight in desert camp with private tents would be the end of our 4th day of the desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech via Merzouga Sahara 6 days.
DAY 5: MERZOUGA – TINJDAD – TODRA GORGES – DADES GORGESAfter passing a night in a traditional camp in the heart of Merzouga Sahara desert , the 5th day of Tangier to Marrakech via Merzouga Sahara desert tour 6 days will be so special, we’ll get up early to see & enjoy the sunrise among the sand dunes of Erg-Chebbi in Merzouga Sahara. After that, we’ll ride camels back to our hotel in Merzouga have a traditional breakfast and fresh shower then continue our way to Marrakech via Todra Gorges and Dades valley. We will keep driving through some Berber villages and towns, crossing Tinjdad to reach Todra Gorges where we will have a short walk with local guide along the river & explore the miraculous Todra Gorges that known with its high mountains with 300m altitude. Lunch will be served in Todra Gorges. In the afternoon we drive toward Dades Valley with the possibility of stops to take memorable pictures in the beautiful landscapes of the Valley.Overnight will be in a hotel in Dades.we will have one day left to enjoy our Morocco desert trip from Tangier to Marrakech via Merzouga Sahara.
DAY 6: DADES VALLEY – AIT BENHADDOU – MARRAKECHOn the 6th and last day of our desert tour started from Tangier via Merzouga Sahara and ends in Marrakech on 6 days, we continue driving along the Rose Valley known with its wonderful landscapes and the production of rose goods, toward Moroccan Hollywood ; Ouarzazate where so many movies has been filmed. We’ll visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou a UNESCO WORLD heritage site, where we will have lunch. After lunch, we continue our Morocco desert trip to Marrakech, passing through the High Atlas Mountain & the Tizi-N-Tichka. By arrival to Tizi-N-Tichka pass, we will make some stops for taking some pictures of this admiring landscapes made by the High Atlas Mountains. Arrival to Marrakech will be the end of our Morocco Sahara desert tour 6 days.
